In 2014 I was asked, by a private client, to restore eight beautiful panels depicting The Liberal Arts and Sciences.

They came to me in a rather sorry looking state; very dirty, and the borders were badly broken. Several pieces of glass were completely missing

The private client believed them to have been designed by William Burges, cartooned by Fred Weekes, and made by Gualbert Saunders

They are very similar to the Four Seasons panels, with noticeable differences in the lead-work borders, and the colourful central figures.
