In 2013, myself, Rob MacInnes and Maurice Jackson undertook the site-management, removal, conservation and re-installation of the William Wallace and King Robert the Bruce windows from the second floor of the Wallace Monument.
The complexity of the job was compounded by; restricted access, height, archaeological ground-work remains, public access, winter, high winds and snow.
Happily all demands were met, and the windows are safely put back for another 100 years. Phew!
