Making a new painted side panel for a Victorian Hallway
Repainting and multiple complex firings of a large glass side-light panel
Although the bulk of my work is as a freelance conservator / consultant / designer & maker, I enjoy the smaller personal challenge of domestic repairs.
Each repair is very site specific, and requires individual problem solving, sensitivity, and reassuring experience.
The usual problems are due to thefts, lock-out / break ins, children & balls, drunken parties, domestic fires, insufficient support in doors, wind gusts, new owners and old neglect and accidental damage during renovations.
I’ve yet to encounter a problem that I couldn’t solve.
