~ Broken Front Door, Torrance ~
In October 2021 I was delighted to repair this charming mid-20th century domestic panel in Torrance.
It had suffered over the years from lack of support, storm damage and impact damage.
It’s always a pleasure to bring broken domestic glass back to life again.

All leads and solder joints were strengthened, missing glass replaced and the panel was re-puttied.
After restoration
The whole panel was much stronger. Protective glazing was moved to the exterior of the door to protect the panel.
