~ Maria Shaw Memorial Window ~

A new window in memory of Maria Shaw, Bridge of Allan Parish Church.

The church retains features which were designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and the family requested that this be reflected in the design of the window.

Much of the design is taken from “All Ye Who Walk in the Willow Wood”, a gesso panel in the Willow Tea Rooms (1903), but is augmented with flowers and trelliswork and text, all selected by the family.
