An emergency on-the-spot repair for a travelling exhibition panel by Richard Wright which had got damaged in transit.
Replacement glass was provided, but, after careful consideration, I felt that in-situ use of hxtyl epoxy resin was the best, and least destructive option.
I was delighted with the result.
The refractive index of the resin almost perfectly matched the clear glass, and the crack vanished.
Once on dispay, it should be practically invisible from a distance.
